If you like the outdoors and are a techno-geek, you might like to try geocaching.
It's a worldwide treasure-hunting game using a handheld GPS receiver. This hobby has taken me to many places I would
never otherwise have visited or even known about. It's great for all seasons, too -- even the cold depths of winter.
I've shed about 25 extra pounds in the last year (I haven't felt this sleek since sometime in high school!), no doubt
due in part to being lured into the outdoors by this wonderful "sport" that disguises itself as fun and adventure.
I recently returned to LiveJournal. If you're interested, you can
read random, boring, strange, wonderful, crazy and agonizing details of my life. I have also been developing an
online photo album. It's updated through April 2006, so check it out!
I continue to devour books, although the past few years I've migrated more toward fantasy that has some kind of romantic
element to it. My current reading list is here. Two authors I
highly recommend are Anya Seton and Marius Gabriel. They're wonderful.
I can be reached via these messaging services, as well as via the email at the bottom of this page.
