Geocaching in the Twin Cities
August 6, 2006

On this day we decided to go geocaching, but with a twist: We were only going to look for caches older than December 31, 2003. Because we were being so selective, the caches were quite spread out and ultimately we didn't find as many as we might have otherwise, but it was fun to try something different.

Julia loads up the geocaching database on the laptop. True techno-geeks, we always travel with internet access in the car.

Julia approaching a very crazy mouse.

Here is the crazy mouse. It was clearly having some issues, as it was just running around in circles in broad daylight and didn't care if we approached within two feet of it.

Cute but crazy.

A fantastic view of the St. Anthony Falls in Minneapolis. Unfortunately, the falls now have to wear a protective apron to keep them from eroding.

The view of Minneapolis from the Stone Arch Bridge. Hard to believe neither of us had ever been here before!
