We wandered around Stockholm a bit before taking the train to
Hallsberg. In this picture, everything was set up for a Smaka på
Stockholm (Taste of Stockholm) festival, which appears to have
been rained out. |

festival at all. Too bad, we were hungry. |

We took the train from Stockholm to Hallsberg, where Jonas' father
Christer and sister Karin met us at the station. |

While in Hallsberg we stayed in Karin's apartment. The first night we
woke up about 2:00am and couldn't get back to sleep. This picture
shows how light it is outside at midsummer, even in the middle of the
night. |

After breakfast we all piled into the car for a weekend in Göteborg on

The first thing we did this day is visit the Universeum, a new
attraction in Göteborg. It is a cross between a zoo, an aquarium and a
science museum. This is the funicular railway leading to the top. |
